For all intents and purposes, the last name of this family is Crisp, but upon further investigation, all family members' names end in "Birch Crisp." His father was also Charles Birch Crisp. Here are my findings on the family:

--Charles Birch Crisp married Beatrice Marion Chapple in London in 1893.
--Although it is reported Mr. Birch Crisp purchased Moor Close in 1910, I have record of him living there as early as 1907.
--The last listing I have found for Birch Crisp at Moor Close is 1934. The property was reportedly repossessed in 1938.
--Birch Crisp had 5 children. Sylvia was his youngest child, born about 9 years after the previous, Marion Phyllis. Twins Marjorie and Charles were born in 1896.

--Son Christopher (born 1900) attended Magdalen College, Oxford, and was an RAF Squadron Leader who died on Christmas Eve 1943 in Malta.
